Order or renew garden waste collection

We provide a fortnightly garden waste bin collection service for an annual fee.

The garden waste collection service is for residents who maintain their own gardens.

It cannot be used by gardeners or grounds maintenance companies who are employed privately, or by management agencies to carry out a service of gardening and/or ground clearance as this will need to be removed privately. 

For residents with a private garden within communal grounds who do maintain their own garden, can contact us and we will review your request in accordance with our guidelines.

If you sign up for the paid service, you get a brown wheeled bin that: 

• Is collected every 2 weeks on your garden waste collection day throughout the year
• Holds up to 240 litres of garden waste
• No part of the annual charge will be refunded once the service has commenced

If you don’t wish to join the garden waste bin collection service, you can buy brown sacks.

How garden waste collections work

• Your bin will only be emptied if the annual charge has been paid.
• Mark your bin clearly with your house name / number and ensure it is visible when presented.
• Present your bin on the kerbside or on the nearest public pavement.
• There are no stickers this year.
• Our crews will check electronically to see who has an active subscription.

Cost

The annual subscription is £99, running from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.

Each garden waste bin must be paid for and registered to the address where the bin will be collected from. Subscriptions cannot be used for bins located at other households.
