Where to leave garden waste bins and brown sacks

Bins or bags should be put out:

• No later than 6.30am on collection day
• Beside or on the nearest public pavement, normally in front of the property
• In a position that does not obstruct access to others including wheelchair users, and those with pushchairs
• Presented clearly in view of our collection crews
• Compostable brown garden waste sacks should only be presented the evening before, or by 6.30am on, your scheduled collection day. Sacks left out for prolonged periods or during wet weather may deteriorate and split and crews may be unable to collect.

Please return your bin to your property after collection.  

Bank holidays

On bank holidays, bins or bags should be put out no later than 5.30am. We recommend that they are put out the night before.
