You can buy brown sacks that:
- Hold 75 litres of garden waste
- Cost £2 each
- Are collected on your fortnightly garden waste collection day
- Must be collected in person from one of our hubs
Paying online does not result in a delivery to your property.
Any garden waste presented in non‑official bags, containers or unbranded sacks will not be taken.
From 1 June, you will need to book a collection online before putting out your sacks.
It’s quick, simple — and helps crews know exactly where to collect from.

- Pick up in person from one of our hubs
- Fill your compostable garden waste sacks
- Book a collection online on your scheduled fortnightly garden waste collection
- Put your sacks out on your booked day

How to buy brown sacks online
We are experiencing delays in receiving compostable garden waste sacks due to wider supply and transport issues outside the UK. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to receive the stock next week.

- Take your receipt to one of the following local hubs detailed on the next page to collect the bags in person.
