Residents Permit Scheme 2026

We have now implemented a new Residents Permit scheme and Traffic Regulation Order. This new scheme amends and extends some permit zones, operational hours, charges and introduces resident visitor vouchers.

Any currently active permits will remain valid until their expiry date with no additional charges applied retrospectively.

This follows a public consultation which took place between August and September 2025, and a subsequent TRO consultation earlier this year. To view the consultations and reports, visit the Engage website.
