Woosehill Roundabout Scheme

Overview of the scheme

We’ve committed to improving the busy roundabout on the A329 Reading Road / Woosehill Spine Road. This will make it easier for people to cross the roundabout to make it more accessible and convenient for everyone to use.

This work is mostly being funded by the Government, via Active Travel England, as part of our broader aim of making walking, wheeling and cycling the natural choice for some journeys – especially short, local trips.

We’ve consulted on this scheme and made changes based on feedback from residents and other organisations, and we’re now working on the final detailed design.
