Annual reviews for children in Year 9 or above

When your child is in Year 9 or above, annual reviews should focus on preparing for adulthood. It's important to find out and record your child or young person's views, wishes and feelings as part of this.

The reviews should look at:

• post-16 education and employment
• skills for independent living, including travel training
• building relationships and being involved in the community
• keeping healthy as an adult
