Wokingham area SEND inspection 2026

In January 2026, Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) carried out an area SEND inspection of the Wokingham local area partnership.

They looked at how well all services work together to support and improve the experiences and outcomes of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including:

• health services
• Wokingham Borough Council
• schools and early years settings
• other local partners

This inspection looked at the whole local system, not just the council.
