If you are in custody, court processes or victim of a crime
We will listen to you, and we will be there for you every step of the way.
We will support you when you are being interviewed by the police.
If you are detained in custody, we will offer you support.
Where you are subject to legal proceedings, we will support you to assure you and your situation are represented fairly.
We will make sure your PA works with you to visit you regularly and support you, and that we will work with probation services and the legal team to support you through the court process, using language you understand.
If you are in prison, your Personal Advisor (PA) will have contact with the relevant care leavers lead in the prison.
We will provide you with a festival allowance. This will be included in your pathway plan and will be discussed with your assigned worker in prison.
Leaving prison
Housing and Children’s Services will work together to ensure you have suitable accommodation on your release from prison. Support to keep your accommodation will also be in place.

If you are a victim or witness of a crime
We will support you through any process where you may be a victim or a witness of a crime,
We will support you to report crimes and, we will help you follow up and manage communication with the police.
We will provide you with emotional support with the impact of crimes.
