Support for Wokingham Carers
The Wokingham Carers Partnership provides support and advice to unpaid carers in the borough. The service can help you with:
- Support to help you in your caring role
- Find local services and sources of help
- Looking after your health and wellbeing
- Connect with other carers
- Understand your rights
Partnership members are Age UK Berkshire, Promise Inclusion and Berkshire Youth.

Free online support for carers
We've teamed up with Carers UK to provide carers in the Wokingham borough with free access to a wide range of online advice and resources. This includes:
- Online courses: help carers find ways to prevent their caring responsibilities from becoming overwhelming
- Jointly Care App: an app for carers to store information about the person they are caring for, including appointments and medication notes
- Carers UK guides: useful information for carers

The Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust have created a handbook for carers which gives practical information and financial, and emotional support available to carers from a range of local and national organisations.
