How the brown sack collection service works
You can buy brown sacks to fill with garden waste that we will collect on your fortnightly garden waste collection day.
Each brown sack holds 75 litres and is compostable.
Cost
Brown sacks cost £1.20 each.
Where to collect brown sacks
Residents can pay for more brown sacks online and then collect in person. See instructions below on how to pay online.
Paying online does not result in a delivery to your property.

How to pay:
- Visit our online payment service page
- Make payment for the number you sacks you want to buy (eg £1.20 = 1 sack / £30 = pack of 25 sacks)
- Select 'Rubbish and Garden Waste' as the Account Group
- Select 'Garden Waste Sacks' as the Account Type
- Provide your name and full address
- Click 'Submit'
- Add your email address to receive an email confirmation with your receipt number
- Take your receipt to one of the following local outlets to collect the bags in person.
- Let the staff know if this is the first time you have used the service so we can register your address for the fortnightly collection service
If you can't pay online call us on 0118 974 6000 and select option 2 for waste
