What is included

We provide written responses to individual requests for information about roads or highways. This includes:

• Whether it is adopted
• Nearby road schemes
• Nearby public rights of way
• Information about schemes affecting future traffic flow

The Authority's records show the approximate extent of the public highway only and do not confirm whether it abuts the property or land in question.

We aim to respond within 3 working days once payment has been received.

Land Ownership

Land ownership is not included in a highway search. For this information you need to contact the Land Registry at Gloucester website, or for copies of legal agreements see Local Land Charges (a charge may apply).
