Virtual School

Wokingham Virtual School (WVS) is a big supporter for children and young people who are or have been in care. Its job is to make sure you do just as well in school as everyone else. The Virtual School works with a range of professionals to remove any barriers to your learning. 

The Virtual School can help with:

• Providing a laptop to support your education or for job searching. This can be replaced every 3 years
• Tuition for English and/or math GCSE exam retakes
• English language tuition for unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young people
• Careers advice from the Post-16 Officer
• Developing a Personal Education Plans and a termly Personal Education Plan meetings
• Accessing courses on a case-by-case basis.
