Emotional wellbeing and social care support for adults

Emotional wellbeing and mental health support

Mental wellbeing services are here to support you when life feels difficult. They can help with things like stress, anxiety, low mood, or problems at home or work. Support might include talking to someone, getting advice, or joining helpful activities. You're not alone - help is available when you need it.

Employment support

Supported Employment Service helps people covered under the disability provision of the Equality Act 2010 to find or keep a job, offering individually-tailored support packages. To learn more about what the service provides, visit the Optalis website.

Social care support for adults

Learn about the social care support services we offer if you need extra support. These include:

  • Preparing for Adulthood Team – supporting young people aged 14 to 25 as they move into Adult Social Care.
  • First Contact Team – your first point of contact if you're an adult who may need care and support, especially if you're finding daily tasks difficult or feel unsafe at home due to age, illness, or disability.
