Who can apply
If you are based in Wokingham Borough and are:
- A voluntary, community or faith group
- A community interest organisation or community interest company
- A social enterprise or small local business, or
- An individual or group of friends
You could be a new group, or an existing small group with a new idea.
How to apply
Fill in the online form:
Tell us what your idea is, why it will help, and what you will spend the money on.
To get funding you will need to show:
- How your idea supports our Social Care Future vision
- What difference will you make
- Why this project is new or addresses a gap in the community
- How you will make the most of the money
When to apply
You can apply any time between 11 February 2026 and 31 January 2027.
We have limited funding available and will award funding as applications are received, so the fund may close before this date.
How much you can apply for
- Between £100 and £2000
Deadline for spend
- Funding must be spent by 31 March 2027
What help is available
If you need help with your application or would like to chat to us about your idea, email getinvolved@wokingham.gov.uk.
If you are new to community projects, we can give you advice and help you get set up. If you are not an established constituted group, we don’t want this to be a barrier to you applying and can support you to become one.
If you can’t use the application form, we’re happy to talk about other ways for you to tell us about your idea, for example, EasyRead or accessible PDF or in person.
