Finance and Administration Officer

Full-time, all year round, permanent

37 hours per week (between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, negotiable)

Scale 5, Grade 12-17 £28598 - £31023

This contract allows holidays to be taken during term time

We would also consider slightly less hours per week for the right candidate

 

If you are looking for a challenging and interesting position, and have excellent skills in finance and admin, then you will love this role. This is varied position supporting our nurseries, and the provision of excellent service to our children and families. 

You will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and confident in the use of other operating systems including FMS
  • Be well organised, approachable and enjoy varied tasks.
  • Recent experience, skills or knowledge of Local Authority finance in a nursery/school setting would be an advantage

Some duties also include:

  • Being a friendly face to parents, staff, visitors and pupils
  • Phone/Reception duties including communicating with parents and staff by text, email etc
  • Providing efficient administrative support across many aspects of the nursery
  • Utilising various admin databases and web-based systems.
