Surface course deterioration

This is where the surface layer of a road or footway has deteriorated due to wear and tear and is likely to be below our investigatory level for repair. However, it will continue to be monitored via our regular safety inspections. You can continue to tell us about this but please be aware that it is unlikely that any action will be taken unless an inspection deems it necessary.
