Delamination

This type of road surface damage is called delamination and is caused by the failure of the road surface layer to bond with the road layer beneath. It falls below our investigatory levels for repair, however, it will continue to be monitored via our regular safety inspections. You can continue to tell us about this but please be aware that it is unlikely that any action will be taken unless an inspection deems it necessary.
