Under the Freedom of Information Act, I am writing to request the following information regarding funerals arranged by the Council under Section 46 Public Health Act 1984 (England and Wales) and Section 87 of the Burial and Cremation Act 2002 (Scotland).

I’m currently doing research into which councils in the UK currently have tenders for a waste management or Weighbridge software.

1. I was wondering if your council currently had a tender open?
No.

Could you tell me as of the start of September 2023 school term:

1. How many SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) children do you hold on your records?
1981 EHCPs as of 27.02.2024.
2979 SEN Support (as per census October 2023).

1. Has your council declared a climate emergency?

1. Please provide all summary evidence from the recent consultation on household waste collection changes that supports claims that reducing recycling collections to fortnightly is supportive of increasing recycling rates in the borough.

1. Please can you inform me if you have a disclosure log online of FOI’s you have replied to and if so, please can I have a link to it?

1. Do you have a full-time officer solely dedicated to managing your declared climate and/or nature emergency?
Yes.

In each case, I would be grateful if the definition of 'teaching assistant' could be treated as consistent with the Department for Education's Workforce Census definition (ie. inclusive of HLTAs).

1. How does the Building Control Department assist surveyors to get to site visits?
Wokingham Borough Council reimburse for any non-commuting mileage incurred on behalf of the council.

2. Are vehicles provided, or are staff given an essential car users allowance?
No.
