Dinton Pastures welcomes new café operator

A new café operator has taken on two sites at Dinton Pastures Country Park in Hurst. DP Hospitality now runs The Coffee Deck at the Dinton Activity Centre and The Coffee House by the main car park, off Davis Street. 

DP Hospitality specialises in locally sourced, freshly made produce. Example menu includes; hot and cold breakfast options, sandwiches, cakes, pastries, afternoon tea, refreshments and beverages. There’s also a barbecue menu with burgers, hot dogs, chicken shawarma, koftas and jacket potatoes. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. 

The new operators came into place in mid-April. The current opening hours at the cafes are: 

• The Coffee Deck, Monday to Sunday, 9am to 4pm.
• The Coffee House: Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 4pm.

Thousands of people visit Dinton Pastures each week to enjoy the 350-acre country park. An expanded events programme in recent years has helped boost use of the country park through new events like a laser light show, jousting weekend, comedy nights, range of workshops and an expanded festive offering.

The café offer at Dinton Pastures supports the long-term sustainability of the country park, generating income while providing a popular and much-valued service for residents and visitors.
