We receive a significant number of reports from residents and other road users and it is important to make clear that this is a lengthy process that can take years.
The Traffic Management Team will review all concerns in the order they are received and will not provide a response until a decision has been made.
We must prioritise road safety concerns based on evidence, risk, and funding availability.
Not all requests will result in immediate action, but all are logged and considered as part of future reviews or schemes.
Some issues, such as obstruction, remain the responsibility of the police.
