Pay Council Tax
Pay online, set up Direct Debit, and find other payment methods
To pay your Council Tax, set-up or amend a Direct Debit, you will need your Council Tax account number. This can be found at the top of your Council Tax bill.
If you have forgotten your account number, visit our Locate Your Council Tax Account Number page.
If you received a reminder notice, please ensure you’ve paid the overdue instalments before setting up a Direct Debit as they won’t be included and may be subject to further recovery action.
When you select ‘Apply and amend Direct Debit’, you’ll go to the Council Tax portal homepage. From there, select ‘Make a payment or set-up a Direct Debit’.
