If you're new to SEND, the following organisations and charities provide information, advice and support with SEND.

Independent Parental Special Education Advice (IPSEA) provides free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND.

ASD Family Help offers workshops for parents and carers who live or work in Wokingham Borough. Your child or young person does not need a diagnosis for you to attend these workshops.

Parenting Special Children offers workshops for parents and carers as well as support groups and courses for children and young people.

If your child is under 5 years, Dingley’s Promise offers advice and help to families who have questions about their child’s development and where to go for help.

Wokingham Borough Council’s Family Intervention, Resources and Support Team (FIRST) provides information, workshops and training around sleep, anxiety and behaviour.

Wokingham Borough Council’s Autism Spectrum Service for Information Support and Training Team (ASSIST) offers workshops, information and support about autism.
