Money support for learning to drive
Financial help for driving lessons, tests, and training
The support you can get depends on what type of care leaver you are. Find out what this means.
If getting on the road is something you’re aiming for, we can help take care of some of the costs, including:
-
Your provisional licence
-
Driving lessons - we can help cover up to 10 hours, or up to £500, whichever comes first
-
Your first theory test
-
Your first practical driving test
-
Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) if you’re planning to ride a moped
Chat with your Personal Advisor (PA) about the support you need to get started on your driving journey and take that first step.
