Support for primary school years

Triple P Primary

Triple P Primary is for parents and carers of primary school-aged children.

You'll learn practical tips and strategies to:

  • encourage positive behaviour
  • manage everyday challenges
  • support your child's development
  • build your confidence as a parent or carer

The programme includes:

  • 5 group sessions, each lasting up to 2 hours
  • 3 one-to-one phone calls lasting 15 to 30 minutes each

The phone calls give you extra support as you put what you've learned into practice at home.

Triple P Stepping Stones

Triple P Stepping Stones is for parents and carers of primary school-aged children with additional needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, ADHD and autism.

You'll learn practical strategies to:

  • support your child's development
  • encourage positive behaviour
  • manage challenges at home
  • build your confidence in handling everyday situations

The programme includes:

  • 6 group sessions, each lasting 2 hours
  • 3 one-to-one phone calls lasting 15 to 30 minutes each

The phone calls provide extra support as you use your new skills and strategies at home.

Fear-Less Triple P (6 to 10 years)

Fear-Less Triple P is for parents and carers of children aged 6 to 10 years who would like support in helping their child manage worries and anxiety.

You'll learn practical ways to:

  • help your child understand and manage anxious feelings
  • build your child's confidence and emotional resilience
  • support your child in coping with challenges
  • encourage healthy ways of managing worry
  • develop strategies that can support the whole family

The programme includes 6 sessions, each lasting 2 hours. You'll gain practical tools and techniques to help your child become more confident and better able to cope with anxiety.
