Integrated Early Help Service

Early Help support can come from many different places, including:

• schools
• nurseries
• midwifery teams
• charities
• libraries

Wokingham Borough Council also has an "Integrated Early Help Service". This service provides whole-family and group-based support to children, young people, and their parents/carers who have been assessed as needing more support than universal services provide and whose needs are best met by our service.

We are based in Family hub and across Wokingham. Our skilled staff work flexibly to ensure support is accessible. 

We work in a “strengths-based”, “solution-focused” way, which means we work together with families to see what is working well and agree on areas that need to change. Then, we work with families to create a support plan to achieve that change.
