SEND Local Offer

If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities the SEND Local Offer section of our website has information on: 

• who to talk to about social care help
• getting support for your child at nursery, school or college
• local support groups
• services supporting parents and carers to take a short break from their caring role
• leisure activities for children and young people with SEND
• health and wellbeing services including mental health, sleep and behaviour support

CAN Information Network

The CAN Information Network is Wokingham Borough Council’s information and support service for children and young people aged up to 25, with special educational need and disabilities (SEND) and their families. The service also offers:

• regular news emails on what is happening locally
• for those eligible a photo ID card recognised by many local leisure attractions and may enable some concessions
