Youth Club Playworker - Promise Inclusion

Promise Inclusion is a local charity working with people with a learning disability and those with an autism spectrum condition, their carers and families. We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated people to join our team.  Experience of working in similar positions is desirable, but training will be given for the successful applicant.  Our office base is now in Wokingham.

We have a vacancy for a Youth Club Playworker working with young people with learning disabilities between the ages of 13 (year 9) and 19. The club runs on a Wednesday evening at Addington School, Woodley, during term time.

You will take direction from the club coordinator to help plan and supervise indoor and outdoor activities, set up the room and to help tidy away at the end of the session. You will be required to attend meetings and training as required. 

References, an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and a Right to Work check will be carried out on the successful candidates.
