The Piggott School - Exams Invigilator

You will be responsible, reliable, observant, approachable, have attention to detail, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.  A flexible outlook is a distinct advantage.

You must be available from March 2026, including for the Summer 2026’s GCSE and GCE (AS and A Level) exams series, which runs from mid-May – end June 2026 (term time). You must be able to commit to an 8.15am start and/or around a 3.30pm finish (occasionally later) and to at least the equivalent of two days per week.  As well as the Summer exams series, there will be some additional invigilation opportunities in the Autumn/Winter/Spring terms for PPEs (pre-public exams) and other internal and public (external) exams.

Distribution of invigilation across the entire team; payment at a competitive hourly rate (based on hours worked); and a supportive and welcoming team ethos.

Previous experience is not necessary, as full training will be given.
