High Close School is looking for Referrals & Admissions Administrator to join our dynamic, fun office team. This is a diverse, visitor facing role requiring a warm, attentive personality with excellent interpersonal and administrative skills and an eye for detail.
High Close School is a special school catering for around 80 young people with a complex range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
We offer a traditional KS2, KS3 and KS4 school experience equivalent to mainstream with outcomes that includes recognised qualifications at the end of KS4. We do this in small classes with high levels of pastoral care and support.
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to become part of a highly skilled team to provide support to the growing number of young people in our flourishing school.

- Comfortable in a busy office environment using IT systems such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to effectively communicate with a broad demographic of staff, visitors and young people
- Experienced working within a team as well as on your own initiative
- Able to maintain confidentiality within strict data protection guidelines?

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Administration of student referrals including the onboarding processes.
- Attending admissions meeting and taking minutes as required.
- Dealing with incoming phone calls/voicemails/emails and responding accordingly.
- Maintain Reception and waiting areas in a clean, tidy and welcoming condition.
- To assist in providing telephone and reception arrangements which are welcoming to children, young people, families and visitors.
- To provide general administrative support for the Office and main school as and when required.
- To develop and maintain records, both electronically and manually.
