General Administrator and Receptionist

Term Time Only + Inset Days + 15 days during school holidays

This is initially a 12-month fixed term contract with a view to making it permanent in Sept 27

Are you looking for a varied and interesting position, and have excellent skills in computing and customer service, then you will love this role. We are looking for someone who is flexible, motivated and proactive to join the existing team to support the management of our nurseries, and the provision of excellent service to the children and families that use the Centre.

You will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and confident in the use of other operating systems.

  • Be well organised, approachable, flexible and enjoy varied tasks.

  • Recent experience, skills or knowledge of reception or admin in a nursery/school setting would be an advantage

Some of the duties include:

  • Being a friendly face to parents, staff, visitors and pupils to the Centre and Family Hub

  • Phone/Reception duties including communicating with parents, staff and external partners

  • Providing efficient administrative responsibilities across many aspects of the nursery

  • Utilising various admin databases and web-based systems to manage the admission process of all our pupils
