Flying Start Nursery- Early Years Practitioner/ Key Person
Flying Start Nursery is looking to recruit a fun, caring, motivated individual to join our Early years team. We have a unique woodland setting and we do Forest school. If you love the outdoors and have a passion for supporting children’s learning through play then please contact us!
The role will require the individual becoming a key person to a group of children to support them, their families and their learning, whilst becoming part of a very positive, caring and supportive team.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
A friendly, caring person with great people skills to communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff members.
- A passion for Early Years education, with good knowledge and experience of the EYFS or a desire to learn.
- The ability to develop great relationships with the children and their families.
- Motivation to continually grow as a practitioner, by attending ongoing staff training and courses.
- Love for the outdoors!
Qualification Essential
We are preferably looking for somebody with an Early Years Level 3 qualification or equivalent but would consider level 2 qualifications.
Qualifications Preferred
Up to date safeguarding training and paediatric first aid.
Experience Essential
Previous experience of working in childcare.
Experience Preferred
Experience of being a keyperson to a group of children.
