The Role
Join our dedicated team in the heart of Finchampstead Village.
We are looking for a patient, enthusiastic, and nurturing Learning Support Assistant to help our pupils reach their full potential. As a small village school we pride ourselves on our inclusive community where every child is known and valued. You will play a vital role in bridging the gap between a child and their learning. Finchampstead Primary is a warm, welcoming village school. The role is Term time only offering an excellent work-life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Targeted support: to provide 1-1 and small group support
- Classroom collaboration: to work closely with the teachers to adapt materials and deliver a curriculum that engages all learners.
- Inclusive environment: Help manage classroom dynamics and behaviour to maintain a safe, positive and stimulating learning space.
- Pastoral Care: provide emotional support, help build confidence and help develop pupils their independence.
