The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your knowledge and experience while making a positive impact on children's lives. Candidates must have experience post qualification within Early Years settings.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Safeguarding policies and procedures are at the heart of everything that we do
  • Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 2-5 years
  • Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment that promotes children's emotional and social well-being
  • Supervise children during play and meal times, ensuring their safety at all times
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's individual needs and development plans
  • Lead by example in promoting good behaviour, manners, and positive social interactions among children
  • Manage daily routines efficiently alongside your colleagues
  • Contribute to the organisation of events and activities that enhance children's learning experiences
  • Uphold health and safety policies, including hygiene standards and safeguarding procedures

Skills

  • Proven experience with early years aged children is essential
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with children, parents, and team members
  • Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification) are essential for this role
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and creativity in working with young children
  • Organised with good time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

All candidates will be subject to a clear Enhanced DBS and suitable references before they can begin employment. If successful, after interview the candidate will also be expected to complete a series of online training courses relating to Safeguarding before their first day.
