Ashridge Nursery - Senior Early Years Practitioner and Maternity Cover as Deputy

To work as part of the nursery team under the direction of the Nursery Manager. To support the Manager and Deputy with running the setting. To act as a keyworker and to provide safe, high quality education and care for all nursery children. For the academic year 2025/2026 you will be required to cover the Deputy Manager role on a temporary basis.

This post does require an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or above.
• An awareness of how young children learn.
• The ability to support learning through play.
• An independent responsible attitude.
• Be Enthusiastic, self-motivated and a team player.

Essential Qualifications - Level 3 or above Diploma in Childcare and Education.

Experience in a preschool setting preferred.
