Acorns Day Nursery - Nursery Practitioner & Key Person
To work along side the nursery team to create a stimulating and inclusive environment which supports children and inspires curiosity, kindness and confidence.
To support learning through play supporting child-initiated learning and offering appropriate levels of support in a stimulating environment.
You will need to have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage as you will be involved in planning and developing a balanced programme of activities to support children in their learning.
To support partnership with families and act as a key person for a group of children and maintain children’s records and learning journey records.
To work alongside the nursery management team to provide and maintain a high quality of care and education for the children.
The ideal candidate should be friendly and reliable.
A friendly, calm and patient nature. A good team player with a flexible approach and able to use their initiative. Good communication and organisational skills required.
Candidates would have a relevant childcare Level 2 or 3 qualifications or equivalent.

A fully enhanced DBS and satisfactory references are required for this role.
