Local Plan 2045
On 25 June 2026, the council’s Executive agreed the timetable for preparing a new local plan – the Local Plan 2045.
The timetable, which reflects the new national plan-making process, is set out below. The timetable has effect from 30 June 2026 and may be updated as the plan progresses.
The local plan timetable CSV file contains the timetable and will be updated to reflect any changes and when milestones have been met. The data meets the government's statutory data standards and is provided under the Open Government Licence.
