Town and Parish Councils
Wokingham Borough is a parished area. In accordance with the CIL Regulations a proportion of CIL receipts are passed to the relevant Town and Parish Councils to where development occurred. The proportion is either 15% or 25% depending on whether the Parish or Town Council has an adopted Neighbourhood Plan.
Payments are made to Town and Parish Councils in April and October each year.
Like the council, Town and Parish Councils must report for each financial year the CIL receipts and expenditure. They must publish their reports on their website.
