Safety awareness campaign launched in Wokingham Borough
Second annual Keep Safe in Wokingham Borough campaign launches
This February, Involve Community Services and Wokingham Borough Council’s Community Safety Partnership will launch the Keep Safe in Wokingham Borough campaign, a series of webinars and in-person events throughout February which raise awareness and promote safety for borough residents.
Keep Safe in Wokingham Borough will bring together voluntary sector groups, local government professionals, schools and other key stakeholders to collaborate, learn and share resources for keeping our community safe.
The events are free to attend and each session is targeted for different audiences including parents and carers, local practitioners, with some open to people of all ages.
Focused sessions with groups in the community will also be taking place, to ensure vulnerable individuals are supported and practitioners know best practices to support those they work with.

Keeping Wokingham Borough safe
The campaign hopes to increase awareness about digital mental health support for young people, gaming and gambling awareness and how everyone can keep safe online. The aim is to help residents navigate the digital world and understand its impact on the real world.
