Join a free event to learn about staying safe in Wokingham Borough
The Keep Safe in Wokingham Borough campaign hopes to increase awareness about digital mental health support for young people, gaming and gambling awareness and how everyone can keep safe online. The aim is to help residents navigate the digital world and understand its impact on the real world.
February's webinar events
The events can be booked online and include:
- Monday 2 February at 4:15pm – Campaign launch event
- Tuesday 3 February at 12pm – Let's explore Minecraft
- Tuesday 3 February at 4pm – Digital mental health support for young people
- Friday 6 February at 11am – Gaming and gambling awareness
- Thursday 12 February at 6pm – Let's explore Roblox
- Wednesday 18 February at 10am – Let's explore Fortnite
- Wednesday 25 February at 4pm – Knife crime prevention: Helping our children stay safe
- Wednesday 25 February at 6:30pm – Gaming and gambling awareness
- Friday 27 February at 12:30pm – Let's explore EA Sports FC 26
February’s In-person events

Thursday 19 February – Virtual choices with VR
Join us for a one-hour interactive VR session where parents and young people explore real-life decision making around relationships, weapon crime, grooming and exploitation, with age-specific sessions that parents or carers attend alongside their child.
Timings as follows:
Children aged 12 to 13 – 2:30pm
Children aged 14 to 15 – 3:30pm
Children aged 16 plus - 4:30pm
