Wokingham's new workspace solution for professionals

Borough Mayor Cllr Carol Jewell officially opened the new business by cutting a ribbon on Thursday 16 October 2025. 

My Little Boardroom will transform the way parents, freelancers, remote workers and self-employed professionals balance work and family life. Their mission is to provide a modern, flexible co-working space paired with high-quality on-site childcare.

Peach Place is part of the council’s multi-million-pound town centre regeneration. My Little Boardroom is run by co-founders Maria Misyurina, a solicitor with extensive experience in legal and franchise expansion, and Heather Sandberg, a business development professional with two decades of commercial growth expertise. Together, they bring the vision, governance and innovation needed to deliver a new kind of workplace for modern families.

My Little Boardroom is a great, new addition to our business community, offering a unique proposition – a convenient place for professionals to work whilst their children are looked after by OFTSED registered childcare providers on-site. 

“The reduction in travel time means there is no need for parents to drop their child elsewhere (and collect later) before going to work, giving them valuable time back and thus improving an important work-life balance. My Little Boardroom will help to build and maintain communities by providing networking and support for working parents. I wish them every success!”

My Little Boardroom was created to support local families through these challenges—offering a space that fosters balance, connection, and a true sense of community for working parents. Opening hours

My Little Boardroom is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm (excluding public bank holidays).
