1. Please would you provide the date for the erection of 30 mph speed signage in Waterloo Road and the reasons for implementing this speed signage.
The speed limit signing was completed by May 2022, however some of the repeater signs were not completed until September 2022.

STATEMENT OF REASONS
The newly constructed part of the Southern Distributor Road via a new roundabout located on Waterloo Road travelling in a Northerly direction.
To facilitate the passage of vehicular traffic, a 30mph speed limit is proposed along the new single carriageway road. Also, to regulate the speed of vehicles on Waterloo Road within 30mph to which drivers can readily negotiate the sight lines and alignment of the existing road.
