1. Please can you advise the following; date the traffic light controlled junction was installed with King St Lane, Hatch Farm Way and Longdon Rd and how many road traffic accidents have occurred involving this junction since installation.

2. For comparison could you also advise how may accidents occurred at this location prior to its installation, for the equivalent time frame.

Winnersh Relief Road Phase 1 was completed in June 2018 and provided a new signal junction, including access from Longdon Road which at that time was a cul-de-sac. Winnersh Relief Road Phase 2 was opened to traffic on 10th May 2021 which included a revised signal junction with additional banned movements including the No right turn from Longdon Road & No right turn from King Street Lane into Hatch Farm Way. Since that time, we have records of 7 personal injury accidents at the junction, 6 slight and 1 serious. Before the signalised junction was completed, there was one personal injury accident, classed as ‘slight’.
