1. How many properties do you currently have on Temporary Accommodation?
We currently have 62 households in temporary accommodation within our own stock; which is a mixture of self – contained units within flats, mobile homes and other self-contained flats/ houses.
We also currently have 44 households in emergency accommodation, which is nightly let accommodation which we pay for per night with our providers. These are a mixture of self-contained units with flats, other self-contained flats/ houses, and rooms within HMO’s with shared facilities.
2. Please can you advise us on the maximum that is paid per night for a Studio, 1 Bed, 2 Bed, 3 Bed & 4 Bed.
Most of our providers will charge between £50 and £55 a night regardless of the size of the unit – so we generally are not paying more for larger units, rather each provider has a set price for all of their units.
3. Who are your largest 5 suppliers and how much do you pay them on average every month?
• Nicola Markham: £19,000
• Housing Network: £15,000
• Martin&C0@ £6000
• Fraser Nash: £4000
• Martin Conway: £3000
• Pandora: £3000
These are average figures; each month will vary due to homelessness demand and availability within our own stock
4. If we were to supply accommodation on this basis, please can you give us contact names and telephone numbers of the procurement team.
