1. Please outline what temporary accommodation schemes your Council runs? For example, nightly paid, leasing, etc. Please attach any materials about these schemes.
The council has its own temporary accommodation stock which is supplemented by one large leased temporary accommodation scheme plus ad hoc use of nightly let units depending on service demand.

2. Please outline the total number of households that you have in temporary accommodation and what types of temporary accommodation they are in? For example, 45 in nightly paid, 35 in hostels, etc.
14 households in nightly let, 62 households in council owned stock and 20 households in leased stock.

3. Please outline what types of accommodation you are looking for? For example 2 beds, 3 beds, etc.
Our current demand is for self-contained family sized units within Wokingham Borough.

4. Please outline the rates paid on each TA scheme broken down by number of bedrooms? For example, nightly paid 2 bed: £65 per night, etc.
We do not have set rates for property size; when nightly let accommodation is required, we will contact registered providers to understand availability and price, the current price range of nightly let accommodation in use is between £50 and £125 a night.

5. Please outline what boroughs you have your temporary accommodation placements by borough?
We currently have placements in Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham and Slough.

6. Please provide the on boarding process to become an accommodation provider, included requirements?
Initial contact with our Temporary Accommodation and Resettlement Team to discuss what provisions you have available followed by a full inspection of the property and documentation review (EICR, ECP, Gas Safety, proof of ownership, insurance documents, HMO license if required)

7. Please provide the name, contact number and email of the person responsible for on boarding temporary accommodation?
Please email Landlords landlords@wokingham.gov.uk with name, contact details and brief description of properties available and one of our Procurement Officers will be arrange an inspection visit.
