3. Do you ask parents to make a case or do you agree automatically?
Parents are expected to make a case as to why they would like their child to delay reception and to start the following September. This information is sent through to the preferred schools for their views or agreement in the case of own admission authority schools.

4. If you ask parents to make a case – of those who do, how many do you grant?
