Could you kindly provide me with the answer to the questions listed below for the years 2016-2021:

1. How much money had been spent on subsidence repairs?
£12,770.32 since November 2018 directly relating to the subsidence on one property.

2. How much money is spent on structural repairs in general per year?
We do not hold this information.

3. For how many days have houses been rendered inhabitable due to structural issues?
Property was void for 668 days, whilst; The Council investigated options relating to the subsidence with the insurance provider. Waited for the Wokingham Borough Council tree specialist to overturn a TPO and arrange for a tree to be felled. The Council completed void works at the property in order to meet the re-let standard.

4. Number of instances where emergency rehousing has had to occur due to structural damage in need of structural repairs?
We do not hold this information.

5. How much has been spent on emergency structural repairs in the cases where rehousing has had to take place due to structural damage?
We do not hold this information.

6. What proactive measures are the council taking to prevent issues that have to do with global warming e.g. different and more sustainable house building methods?
Flood risk and drainage is consulted on planning applications and we scrutinise documents to ensure that development is only allowed in areas that are not at risk flooding and development is only allowed with demonstration of attenuation being provided to cater for the 1 in a 100 year flood event, with a 40% allowance for climate change, so as not to cause flooding elsewhere. Our recommendation is always for development outside of the climate change flood outline. There is a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment report available in the website that provides historic flooding information within the Borough.

7. Number of flooded properties because of global warming?
Not applicable.

8. Number of flooded properties because of global warming per year?
Not applicable.

9. How many properties have been flooded due to global warming for the first time?
Not applicable.

10. How much money has been spent on flood preservation measures?
The Council has a yearly revenue budget of about £700K for the maintenance of exiting drainage systems such as gullies, manholes, sandbag delivery, etc, as well as a Capital budget of about £200K for the implementation of more costly drainage schemes.

To give a little perspective to the above statement, we are talking of about 40,000 gullies and about 5,000 manholes.

11. How much money has been spent on flood induced structural damage repairs?
About £20,000.
