• Unprofessional conduct by managers
Where HR is contacted at an informal stage, this is typically limited to providing procedural advice by directing the individual to the Grievance Policy and advising them to raise the matter with their line manager in the first instance. Such contacts are not recorded as informal grievance cases and cannot be used to produce a reliable count.
2. The number of staff who have raised formal grievances relating to:
• Bullying by managers
• Unprofessional conduct by managers

3. The number of staff who have been signed off work due to work-related stress, where this stress has been attributed to bullying or unprofessional conduct by managers.
