Please treat this as a request under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004. I am seeking records relating to speed limit signage at/near the A33, Three Mile Cross (approaches from the dual carriageway and Mereoak Lane joining the A33 Northbound toward M4/Basingstoke Road J11). Please provide the following for the period 01/01/2025 to 31/08/2025:
1. Works orders, instructions, or job tickets to install, replace, adjust, or clean any speed limit terminal/repeater signs in this area.
An inspection report for 44701916 SWALLOWFIELD BYPASS, SWALLOWFIELD between 01/01/2025 and 31/08/2025, containing details of highway inspections, public reports, minor works orders and works orders is attached to this email. The inspection report has been redacted to remove personal information. The street is inspected by driven highway inspection every month, and the last inspection before 31/08/2025 was on 21/08/2025. The street is also inspected by walked inspection every 6 months (where footways are present) and the last inspection before 31/08/2025 was on 14/05/2025. The attached PDF (ORD2501388) is a copy of the order to install five addition speed limit signs.
2. Site plans/siting diagrams for the relevant signs, including terminal sign locations.
Five addition speed limit signs have been installed, four standard 40mph repeater signs places around the junction with Mereoak Lane, and one on the approach to the junction. The sign design and location plan for these new signs are attached.
3. Inspection and maintenance logs (including reports of missing/obscured/damaged signs).

Wokingham Borough Councils Traffic Management team instructed our contractors to install the additional repeater signs following advice for Thames Valley Police. These were installed on the 11th August 2025
