Communications with Central Government

• Emails, letters, or reports sent to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), DLUHC, NHS England, or any other relevant government department,
• That communicate your council’s position on:
o Not passing on ERNIC cost pressures,
o Concerns about inadequate central government funding to support uplifts,
o The affordability of meeting cost increases including NMW/NLW and CPI inflation.
If this request exceeds cost limits, please prioritise Part 1 (collaboration with other councils) and any correspondence to/from central government.
