1. I would like to ask for the locations of all sites which have been discussed as potential locations for solar energy generation as a contribution to Wokingham Borough Council's commitment to become Carbon-neutral by 2030.
We are applying the EIR Regulation 12(4)(d) exception: Material in the course of completion, unfinished documents and incomplete data to this request. While the Council have drawn up a list of sites that they would like to explore, these needed to be assessed for suitability and considered appropriately, it doesn't mean that a site included on this list is suitable or will be used. Currently this topic is at the very start of the process in the initial planning phase, and to release information too early will cause more harm. Once sites have been assessed and the project is further along, details will be released into the public domain to allow members of the public to review this data. Officers require a safe space to be able to carry out their work unhindered, and should this information be released at this stage it will cause concerns for individuals who may object or take action, and as sites haven't been assessed yet it may detail that certain sites aren't suitable to be used, or used in a limited capacity.

2. I would also like to ask for copies of any maps of these sites and what are considered the advantages and disadvantages of each site.
Currently it is too early in the process for this as the sites haven't yet been reviewed or compared. Once the locations have been reviewed in detail, further information will be made publicly available in relation to this topic. As the above, we are applying the EIR Regulation 12(4)(d): Material in the course of completion, unfinished documents and incomplete data, for those sites that have been completed, otherwise we do not hold the data at this time for the majority of the sites identified.
